The Walden Community Improvement Association (WCIA) is the governing body of Walden on Lake Conroe. Administrative Offices are located at 11715 Walden Road, and staff can be reached at 936-582-1622, Mon - Fri, between 8:00am-4:30pm. As a property owner you are automatically a WCIA member and thus entitled to use amenities owned by WCIA, including the Yacht Club & Swimming Pool, Racquet Center, Fitness Center, North & South Boat Ramps, Parks, Baseball & Soccer fields, Dog Park and several other common area parcels. Renters may purchase an amenities access card upon our receipt of permission by the property owner of record, which is sent by email to [email protected]. The renter pays $15 each, and can obtain up to (2) cards.

The WCIA administers roadway & grounds maintenance, street lighting, deed restrictions, property owner access cards, trash service and the daily operation of the community. The WCIA also publishes a monthly newsletter in addition to the website and the App.

Our Board of Trustee meetings are held every fourth Wednesday of the month unless otherwise noted. The Board of Trustees are elected by property owners and the Board governs the WCIA. Elections are held on the first Saturday in November. Electronic ballot voting dates are announced in September. In accordance with Walden CIA's By-Laws, the application process runs from August 15 to September 15 each year and the application is due on or before September 15 at 5 pm CST.
